Cyprus named the Island of love home to the goddess Aphrodite. The Island is full of amazing sites, myths and legends where all can go to enjoy its magical splendour. Cyprus is a place you can go and visit in any season with so much to see and do. You have great beaches, crystal clear waters to bathe and snorkel, golf courses to play and historical sites to explore and for the night owls out there who like to party then in the summer you can hit the east coast to the party capital of Ayia Napa.

Cyprus is positioned at the crossroads of three continents and only 40 miles from the South of Turkey it is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean. The Island has been split into two states since 1974 due to cultural and linguistic differences which lasted for 11 years and now the Greek Cypriots take residence in the southern part of Cyprus and the Turkish Cypriots in the northern part. This divided area is known as the green line which runs through Nicosia the Capital of both the north and south of Cyprus. This area is protected with five border crossings under 24 hour surveillance where EU citizens are prohibited to cross.
